Voting is for the Weak

During one of many thought provoking discussions, a friend who wishes to remain anonymous and whom I will refer to as Daphne was asked who they would vote for. Instead of coming up with a name, Daphne said,

I’m not voting for either of them. Voting is for the weak, voting is for close minded people that would rather choose a side, than think for themselves.

Now, that certainly started a huge discussion about the current state of the political system and how for years – we have chosen between the lesser of two evils. I don’t know about you, but I cannot, in good conscience  just keep on doing it.  What happens when our system becomes so corrupted that the evil we are forced to choose between makes no difference? Well, you don’t have to wonder too much, as it is quite definitely already happening.

I can only show you the door is open, it’s a freedom of choice whether to walk through. If you stand on the sidelines of this revolution then your choices might be made for you. ~(Hed)P.E.

Am I saying that there is going to be a revolution and that I will lead it? Sort of. I am a leader after all. I can lead you to the door, to the information, to understanding – but it is YOUR CHOICE and yours alone, it is about whether or not you are willing to take the first step.

That step, is thinking for yourself. There is a lot of information out there, lots of trails and connections – I cannot make you see the bigger picture, but I can give you pieces to the puzzle.

For me, I am going to do my best to stay out of the “system.” I already do as much shopping as I can locally and I avoid ‘evil’ corporations, you know the ones profiting from your pain. Anyways, as Ron Paul is merely a thrown away write in and Gary Johnson and the others are kind of alright. And I just can’t stand not voting, so I think I will be voting for someone who I have always been quite fond of and whose running mate actually lost a child in the Iraq War, Roseanne Barr and Cindy Sheenhan. No one knows women’s rights like a woman. And no one knows the cost of war like someone who has lost a child.

There are other options out there besides Romney and Obama, ask yourself . . . why are those the only two you’ve heard about? What benefit do you have for sticking within the Status Quo? What would happened if people chose to only vote for “the other guys”? What if you sent this to just 10 people and it changed their mind? What if we can change the world by not doing what the elites expect us to do? What if?

Nothing rings truer than the sounds of silence. So why is the media silent about the other candidates? What don’t they want you to see? Turn off your televisions and open your mind.

Thanks for stopping by the Middle Brick Road, I hope you enjoyed this post. My name is Kacey and I am really big on health and all things natural – freedom – politics and bringing change by abandoning the boxes we too often put ourselves in.

  1. A very good post Kacey,,however with the media polls from very bias media coverage the polls even if they were 10% lower on both sides would not be enough if one other candidate if he / she took all the remaining votes.. As you said” tired of choosing the lesser ” however Obama wins…. we all lose… The debt ceiling is over 17,000,000,000,000…… Obama did 5,000,000,000,000 all by his self in 4 years and still going strong…. total economic colapse is inevitable … no matter what the outcome of the election,, however 3 supreme court appointments will be made by the outcome of how we vote..remember the rubber stamps Obama has already appointed… Think back when …all you children were small , and begging for toys ,,, you all learned if it said Made in China,,, that meant .NO! ..put it down… Love Dad
