Landlord Charged for Front Yard Garden – Tenant and Neighbors Fight Back « Daring to Live in Love!.
This is one of the many reasons I am choosing to involve myself in zoning laws.
While I may be torn on the specific direction I want to take to accomplish taking on the world one garden at a time, I am not conflicted in general on how I will go about it. Creating awareness and fighting for my food will stay high on my priority list.
I am a proponent for front yard gardens. I believe in the ability for families and neighborhoods to become sustainable and more importantly self-sufficient.
I believe that this is in fact the wave of the future and I know that it will be an uphill battle. I know that not everyone will welcome front yard gardens with open arms, especially those whose profits it threatens.
Take a look at what is happening here and tell me, what do you think about this matter?
Would you put a garden in your front yard? Why or Why not?
