I’ve kept pretty quiet about this. And I don’t really feel the need to boycott or patronize Chick – Fil – A.
I stopped eating their food and will not eat their food because of what is found in their food.
Once I realized what is in their food, I decided I would no longer eat there. Regardless of their political views.
If the Supreme Court will protect the Westboro Baptist Church in their hate-mongering, I am certain that Chick-Fil-A is also protected in theirs.
The great thing is, my freedom of speech, at least for now – is still protected.
Plain and simply, I won’t eat their food because of what they put in it, and that includes the hate.
Why is it that a large chunk of Christians behave as though “I’m Christian, unless you’re gay”?
If you haven’t read that post by Dan Pearce, stop now and read it. It applies to so much more than just homosexuality and Christianity.
I don’t think bragging that you support hate is the right thing to do.
I do believe in free speech and Chick-Fil-A’s right to express that speech.
I do not agree with their stand.
My stance on gay marriage will remain that people should be free to do as they choose and that the State should stay out of it.
I would not be proud or eager to show my hatred towards a particular group. In the name of free speech no less.
I do believe in free speech and that it is sad that to express that, as Americans the best way we can find is through our food choices. Our junk food choices no less.
I believe that this Chick-Fil-A controversy and the Olympics are used to distract you from larger issues, from the truth.
I will not give this controversy any more of my time or energy. I do not believe that it deserves it.
I will seek the truth to discover why we are being distracted by this now, and when I find it, I will share it with you.
I love all of my friends and family. The ones who are discriminated against because of their sexuality and those that do the discriminating.
I think it is sad that people are losing friendships over this. Regardless of what side you’re on.
Hate is not a family or a Christian value.
Not when what I remember from it are things like:
Love thy neighbor.
He who is without sin, shall cast the first stone.
