Today marks 1 year since Steven and I tied the knot!
Nothing about our wedding really went as planned, I suppose it rarely ever does. But I want to take the time out to thank everyone again who helped make our day happen.
To our old friends:
We really appreciate how much you helped, sewing the guys pants together, making invitations – you name it! Our day would not have been a success without your help!
To my old boss:
You did more than anyone could ever ask for, making all the floral arrangements and getting all of our food set up – without your help, it would have been a disaster.
Not to mention all the little goodies you provided for the guests and those who helped the most.
To my friend Kay:
It is too often the people who have the least that give the most.
You gave me so much of your time to help make decorations and helped keep any stress I had at bay on a regular basis.
You are a true friend and I am so lucky that you came into my life.
To my brother-in-law Jamie:
You helped more than anyone realizes.
You hung out with our dog Oliver for the day – he too thanks you.
You helped get all the food together and I don’t think you will ever know how much it means to Steven and I both, that you were able to come. Thank you.
To Brandon and Brie:
Brandon you did a better job officiating than I would have ever imagined.
Brie your choice of what should have been said and you helping put so many things together – I cannot begin to thank you both enough.
You have been, and always will be like family to us.
Happy Anniversary to you both, we love you guys and are so thankful to have you in our lives!
To Lonna and David:
Thank you for travelling and spending the little time that you get together as a family to endure what turned out to be a pretty horrific camping experience.
Lonna, I am so lucky to have a friend as wonderful and as amazing as you are. Through thick and thin, you have always been there when I need you and even when I don’t need you. Just knowing you are always only seconds away from making me smile, makes me smile. You were sick and we made it through the last week of crunch time with style. Thank you and Riley too! I loves you!
To Sarah and Nicole:
Sarah, the cake you made was amazing, thank you. You really did an amazing job!
I know how crazy busy life was after just having Colton, and I thank you for being there to follow through with your promise to make our cake!
You did an amazing job and we loves you!
Nicole, you really came through with our cake topper. The detail and the hard work you put into it still astounds me.
You are by far one of the most talented artists I’ve ever known. I know that one day your work will be world renowned.
The detail and the accuracy of your work is unparalleled. From the first sketch to the final product, your work is just amazing. I am very grateful that you were able to squeeze our sculpture into your schedule and put so much of your heart and soul into it. Thank you.
To my Aunt Mindy:
Sending me Grandma’s cameo to wear as my something borrowed meant more to me than you will ever know.
Having it to wear just made me feel like a part of her was with me. Thank you.
And even though you couldn’t make it, thank you for making sure my Dad was there for me. It really meant a lot to me.
To my other Mother and Dad:
Thank you so much for working so hard to bring everything together, and for always being there! I love you both so much and I am luckier than ever to be a part of your life and a part of your family.
You were a big part of helping to make sure my day was super special, thank you.
To my Dad:
You are one fun guy, and I love you. I am so glad that you were there to be a part of mine and Steven’s special day. To walk me down the aisle and to just be there full of your support.
I am very grateful to have you in my life.
I love you Dad!
To the Miyazaki Family:
Thank you so much for coming to the wedding, your generous gifts and most of all the recording that I have which I will cherish forever. Your family will always have a place in our hearts.
To Samantha aka Mansta:
My on the spot hair and nails girl! You hooked up me and all the little girls!
You my woman, are amazing and I am so glad that you are part of my new family.
To Vickie:
Thank you for doing your part to keep me sane, make sure I had food in mah belly and was calm and collected after a super stressful day, I love you!
To Erin and Benson:
You are the woman who saved the day, and all of my memories!
And your wonderful husband held that sweet baby so you could do it!
You came to my rescue after my photographer quit a mere weeks after having your little one.
I cannot thank you enough for coming to the rescue and getting some of the most amazing shots ever. You truly captured all of our memories beautifully. At times, I didn’t even notice your presence. You are truly gifted and anyone would be lucky to have you as their photographer.
If you’re reading and you like the photos from the wedding, check out Erin’s other work. She is truly gifted!
To everyone else!
Thank you for coming, if I forgot you it wasn’t intentional. I’ve worked slowly, but surely on this post all day long. Going through my memories from this time last year has definitely been great.
And Last but not Least
To my loving husband:
Thank you for always being there, for putting up with me. For being my very best friend. I could not ask for a better husband or family.
Thanks for stopping by the Middle Brick Road, I hope you enjoyed this post. My name is Kacey and I am really big on health and all things natural – freedom – politics and bringing change by abandoning the boxes we too often put ourselves in.
