Status Quo? Oh No!

Will I be a part of continuing the status quo? Nope, I won’t.

I voted for Obama in 2008. I had no reason not to trust him. To me it was the lesser of the two evils. What I failed to realize is, that voting for evil – is STILL voting for evil.

This time around, my vote will not be cast for one of the candidates handed to me on a silver platter by the media. Nope, no it won’t.

This time, I will be making the choice between Ron Paul or Gary Johnson - the two people the media and the establishment fear.

Those are the choices, and we all must band together to make sure that we are not ruled by the establishment. I like both Gary Johnson and Ron Paul – I may not agree with them on all points, but the very fact that they are not the media picked, banker picked candidates is more than enough reason for me to  cast my vote their way.

Abandon the left/right paradigm we must and change the system we will.

To me, it is a “no brainer” – I will vote with the majority of  independent voters. Personally I think Johnson and Paul have  an equal chance if the independent swing voters are willing to band themselves together.

After I wrote my letter to President Obama and was completely ignored and then slapped in the face about 3 times now with requests for money directly from me – I just cannot fathom casting my vote that way again.

I cannot support a man who wins the Nobel Peace prize, yet has a kill list all his own.

A man who believes in throwing the Constitution to the side and favors detaining, torturing and killing American citizens on American soil, without due process of law.

I just cannot do it, and if you can – I cannot help you to see the truth. You can bring a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink.

I can tell you all day not to vote for the two candidates that have been forced upon you, but only you can make the decision to join me and to begin to change the system that we live in by refusing to cave to the media.

  3. Rejecting the banker-picked candidates is a good start. Unplugging from the corporate media, reading books (on history, social movements, political science and politics, etc), discussing and debating issues with others–these are just some other suggestions to help us declare our independence from the elites. Thanks for your post, Kacey. Oh, and also, there are two other candidates, Jill Stein and Rocky Anderson, who might be of interest to your readers.
