What a whirlwind of a weekend! Steven and I left for Norfolk on Friday to meet with my Matron of Honor, Saturday morning we all went and toured the ceremony and reception location. I only took a nap for an hour and a half before I had to get ready to work an overnight at the mall for the girl scouts who were spending the night. I got home as the sun was coming up, crawled in bed and slept till it was time to go to another friend’s to work on constructing our wedding invitations, immediately afterwards we went to see our friend Brad Williams perform at the Funny Bone.
On Monday morning I had come to realize that there are so very many things I should have accomplished over the weekend. Things like working on the three math homework assignments I missed. Well, it looks like I missed them again. Life is just getting so crazy. I feel like I am working or busy doing something that simply must be done all of the time. It is preposterous that I should have to schedule free time, but it seems that just to keep the sanity I must do just that.
Don’t get me wrong, I adore being busy. Just not so busy that the stress of it all keeps me from getting to all the things that need to be handled. This week I have midterms and I still have to work every night except for Monday night. Despite that fact I think I have the week pretty well planned and so I should be able to maintain some level of sanity.
AMEN!
